STYLES OF HEARING AIDS
The style of hearing aid refers to what the aid looks like.
In basic terms there a two styles available – In the ear (ITE) and Behind the ear (BTE).
However, there are several different types of ITE and BTE hearing devices as outlined below:

Invisible in the canal (IIC)
Completely In the canal (CIC)
In the canal (ITC) In the canal directional (ITCD)
In the ear (ITE)
Completely In the canal (CIC)
In the canal (ITC) In the canal directional (ITCD)
In the ear (ITE)

Receiver in the canal/receiver in the ear (RIC/RITE)
Open fit or Over the ear (OTE)
Standard behind the ear (BTE)
