STYLES OF HEARING AIDS

The style of hearing aid refers to what the aid looks like.
In basic terms there a two styles available – In the ear (ITE) and Behind the ear (BTE).
However, there are several different types of ITE and BTE hearing devices as outlined below:

Invisible in the canal (IIC)
Completely In the canal (CIC)
In the canal (ITC) 
In the canal directional (ITCD) 
In the ear (ITE)
